Episode Recap – 9/25/14 (contains spoilers from todays show) Liam is in his office and thinks back to Hope telling him that she’s pregnant and it’s Wyatt’s. Wyatt comes in the office and Liam asks him if he’s there to gloat and Wyatt says – to apologize. Brooke comes in to Hope’s house and has coffee and muffins. She says she thought they’d better eat something because they’ll be packing all day to move Hope out. Brooke keeps talking and asks if Wyatt knows. Hope finally stops Brooke from talking and tells her she’s not moving out – she’s staying with Wyatt. At FC, Maya reads a magazine and smiles and thinks back to Ridge and Caroline hugging. Carter comes in and says – what a surprise and asks for Rick. She says he’ll be along and Carter tells her he’s sorry he disturbed her from whatever plan she’s working on to get Rick’s attention. Maya tells him she’s not worried about getting Rick’s attention – that she can get it any time she wants. Caroline goes in Ridge’s office and says she wants to run something by him – that she wants to tell Rick what’s going on. Ridge tells her – absolutely not. She says that it’s really hard – Rick is her husband and this is the focal point of her life. Ridge says if it’s too hard – maybe they should stop doing it and Caroline says – no, I’ll adjust. She believes that he won’t need her much longer anyway – that whatever is blocking him is temporary. Ridge says – he believes that too but, in the meanwhile they have a show to get ready for and Rick is breathing down his neck and they have to produce. Ridge says – our secret and Caroline says – as long as you say. They look at drawings and Caroline says – it’s starting to look like a real collection and Ridge says – by the time they’re done – she’ll have something to be very proud of. Caroline thinks it is all surreal and by the time Ridge is able to draw again – she’ll walk out the door with no regrets. Ridge tells her that until that happens she’s not going anywhere and he likes working with her. It reminds him of when he first started. He tells her it’s a revelation and that he was on the top for so long and now he’s a novice again. Caroline says he can never be that, he’s still the brilliant Ridge Forrester. Ridge says – see what I mean – you do me good. Liam asks Wyatt since when does he apologize for winning – isn’t that what it’s all about for you. Wyatt says – he’s aware it could seem that way but, he’s actually apologizing for his mother…again. Wyatt says – up until now it’s been easy to forgive her and look the other way. He tells Liam he doesn’t think he can do that anymore. He tells Liam he has a wife now to protect and a family. Liam says – you must be looking forward to that and Wyatt says – it can’t come soon enough for me. Brooke questions Hope about her plans. She says – you’re not going back to Liam? Hope says – no, I’m staying with my husband. Brooke is surprised and Hope says – oh, mom and hugs her. Rick gets a text that says that Caroline is working with Ridge. Maya starts to question it and says – what are they – the new design team. Rick says – they’re design partners and Maya says – out of nowhere. Carter wants to know why she cares so much and Maya says – she’s just trying to understand. Katie comes in looking for Ridge. Carter and Rick leave to take a conference call and Maya starts talking to Katie and tells her that she’s been orphaned by Ridge and Caroline as well. Ridge knows that he’s asking a lot. He knows Caroline has respected that and he’s grateful. Caroline says – it’s her privilege to help him any way she can. Ridge says he’s taking her up on it. He tells her that he needs her. Caroline says – this experience and everything you’ve give me – I need you too. Liam tells Wyatt that this is hard for him – hearing about this family you’re going to start with Hope. Wyatt tells him he’s not there to rub anything in his face but, the fact is that they’re family – you, me and Hope. Liam tells him – you basically walked out of here with my life and I get to sit here and watch you live it. Wyatt tells him it would be nice if Liam could time his forgiveness for when Hope and him finally get pregnant. Liam gets a look on his face. Wyatt continues and says – and with any luck – it won’t be too much longer. Brooke asks Hope to talk to her. Hope says – you figure something out – you know exactly the next step you’re going to take and then – life reminds you of how random it can be. Quinn pushes Ivy into the Seine and everything changes. Brooke says – an unfortunate series of events but, you can change it back. Hope says – no, I can’t. Brooke tells her – due to the circumstances – there are other options. Hope says – no, Liam and I – we can’t be together. Brooke wants to know why not. Hope says – because I’m pregnant. Brooke is shocked. Katie asks Maya what she means and Maya says – you and Rick, with Caroline and Ridge spending all that time together. Katie says – they’re creating. Maya asks if it bugs her. Katie says – no, why should it and Maya says – she’s surprised that Ridge singled Caroline out for specialized attention. Katie says – it’s fine – they work together. Maya says – maybe not. Katie says – you obviously want to say something – so go ahead and say it. Maya says – you’re Ridge’s fiancée – so I think you should know. I saw them Katie and what Ridge and Caroline were doing was a lot more than designing. Caroline picks up a pencil and Ridge asks if she’s ready. Caroline doesn’t want to do anything wrong and he says – there’s no wrong – it’s a process we’re working through together. He tells her to start drawing with the back. Caroline says – she’s never designed from back to front before. He says – you always start with what you see more clearly – that’s an inspiration point. She starts drawing and asks Ridge to take her hand and show her what he sees. He does and they begin to draw together. Wyatt is talking and Liam’s back is turned to him. Liam is confused. Wyatt keeps talking about taking a step in the right direction and after forgiveness anything is possible. Liam turns around and says – you mentioned wanting to start a family? Wyatt says – yeah, one I’d like you very much to be a part of. Liam asks if he’s discussed this with Hope and Wyatt says – she’s not quite ready yet but, I’m working on it and I’d like to have a kid as soon as I can bring her around. Brooke asks Hope if she’s sure. Brooke is happy, surprised and confused and says – she thought… Hope says – yes, you thought that I wasn’t ready – and I meant that. Brooke says – so something has changed. Hope says – not consciously. She tells Brooke – I knew that I’d been late and I figured that it was just stress but, I didn’t want to freak out like last time. But, if I was going to tell Liam that I was coming back to him – that we were finally going to be together – I felt like I had to be sure – so I took a pregnancy test. So, instead of telling Liam that we were going to start a life together – I had to tell him that there’s no chance. Brooke says – she’s so sorry and Hope says that Liam offered to raise the baby as his own. Brooke says – that’s a solution. Hope says – it’s not an option – it’s not fair – it’s not fair to Liam or Wyatt or me or the baby. Brooke says that Wyatt must be thrilled – he’s wanted this family for a while. Hope says – I haven’t told him yet. Maya tells Katie she doesn’t want to cause problems but, she’s had painful experiences with Caroline and knows how she inserts herself into other people’s relationships and before you know it – she’s got your man. She tells Katie she deserves fair warning – so here it is – I walked in on Caroline looking very much at home in Ridge’s arms. Caroline and Ridge continue to draw and Ridge smiles as the design comes together. Their faces are very close together and they look at each other. Wyatt says to Liam if it’s too soon to be brothers – maybe we can just be friends – getting to know each other the way we haven’t yet – ease into things. Liam says maybe but, is clearly thinking of something else. Wyatt says – you’re hurting – I know and I’m sorry – I know what you lost but, there is no going back – only going forward. I really hope that you can do that and be a part of our family because it’s going to happen – it’s happening as we speak. Hope asks Brooke if she’s terrible – am I awful for not telling Wyatt right away. Brooke says – no, you just found out. It’s okay to sit with it and get used to the idea. Hope says – it’s huge. Brooke says – it’s complicated but, it’s never not a miracle. Hope says – I know, I know that and you know that I’ve wanted to be a mom my whole life. I’m just not making any announcements yet. She tells Brooke she can tell dad but, no one else. Hope says – this baby was supposed to be Liam’s – it’s just how I planned it and it would have been if Quinn hadn’t pushed Ivy. Brooke says – but she did and this is your reality so what are you going to do about it. Hope says – I’m going to stay with my husband and I’m going to tell him that we’re pregnant and I’m going to watch his face light up because he’s a really amazing person and he loves me – so much and he’s going to be the best dad ever. So, I’m going to embrace our future and honor the leap of faith that we took and I’m going to be the wife that Wyatt deserves and I’m going to love this child and be a really, really good mom and I’m going to spend the rest of my life being so so grateful for my family. Brooke says – and Liam? Hope says – I am going to forget about Liam… somehow because I have to. Hope is tearful. Brooke and Hope hug.
