Episode Two of Midterms premieres this Sunday night with a whole new set of wonderful Mark Marturello illustrations and all the corn-shucking, pork-flipping, steer-wrangling, beer drinking and debate prep youve come to expect from your favorite political verite miniseries. But beyond all that, theres a bunch of reasons to watch this week, not least including cinematography contributions from David Wilson and our own Madeleine Moyers Schnack. And in a classic second episode twist, NC Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh joins the cast. Thanks once again to all the candidates and campaigns who allowed us to hover around them. If theres anything great in Midterms (and I humbly suggest there might be), its because these campaigns, Democrats and Republicans alike, said yes to our observational ways. So, in Sean Haugh style, were raising a glass of NC craft beer to you in Durham right this moment.
