Equality: One In Christ Jesus... There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. - Gal 3:28 Equality is the hallmark of the church of Jesus Christ unlike what we have in the so called churches today. Jesus says, But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. (Matthew 23:8-9 NKJV) JESUS practiced what He instructed His disciples which made those sent to arrest Him not able to identify Him among His disciples, for they looked alike and nothing made Jesus different from them - Jn 18:1-9. > Jesus never ordained that some will be higher than others in His church for any reason; And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves. “But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” (Luke 22:25-30 NKJV) • If theres a title, position or throne in the church of Jesus Christ, everyone in Him occupies it; There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift...And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:4-7, 11-16 NKJV) • Equality is not what we are seeing in the so called churches, bible schools and theological schools today. What is been taught today is hierarchy according to the tradition of men which has made the word of Christ of none effect among us; And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God[Christ Jesus], you hold the tradition of men...All too well you reject the commandment of God[Christ Jesus], that you may keep your tradition...making the word of God[Christ Jesus] of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.” (Mark 7:7-9,13) > Many are preaching, teaching and living to please men in the name of Jesus. Its not so in the true church of Christ. Equality is a sure mark of the church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; As Paul said, but by an equality...that there may be equality (2Cor 8:14). • The early Church followed the life and teachings of Jesus as the sheep follows the Shepherd; And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. (Acts 2:42-45 NKJV) > Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:32-33 NKJV) • You will hear some claim that things has changed in defense of their falsehood and greed, as Paul said, theyre having useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. (I Timothy 6:5 NKJV) > The world system may change, and the religious system may change, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace... (Hebrews 13:8-9). • The Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth has not changed from its foundation; For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 3:11 NKJV) > The question is how are we building on the foundation Jesus laid for us? Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. (I Corinthians 3:12-18 NKJV) • Jesus is not dead, He died for our sins and rose again for our justification. And He says, ...on this Rock[Myself, Matt 16:16. 1Cor 10:4] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matt 16:18). > The gates of hell has prevailed against every denominational churches built or established by men everywhere in this world. They are dens of thrives and robbers, enslaving and exploiting people; But the truth will set free those that love the truth from their cage - Jn 8:32. + May you walk with Jesus Christ of Nazareth by faith through the help of the Holy Ghost in Jesus Name! Amen! (Acts 1:8)
