Erdogan Reveals Corruption of CHP’s Istanbul Candidate (All Media) PM Erdogan claimed that he has a 57-page report prepared by the CHP proving CHP Istanbul candidate Mustafa Sarigul was “kicked out” of the party for “corruption”. Accusations include $300,000 in bribes that went on record as loans, as well as ignoring unlicensed construction and cooperation with the mafia. The PM previously called on the CHP to reveal these documents, but the CHP stayed silent. According to anti-militarist/pro-reform Taraf, Sarigul responded to these claims with a mini-rally in Istanbul where he emphasized that there is no lawsuit or investigation against him, that he has evidence that he is being illegally wiretapped, and that scare tactics would not stop him.
