Eric Bobo: Here is a cool gem from the Uno, Dos, Tres,1,2,3 album entitled Boogaloo In Room 802. My dad was definitely in the forefront of the Boogaloo sound that was happening in the 60s. Most of his records on Verve highlighted this sound as well. One cool note about this cover is the fact that standing next to my father is my older brother Gill and the lady behind standing next to the gentleman on the street is my fathers mother. That was also my fathers car that both my dad and brother were standing in front of. I believe the car was a Chrysler. From stories Ive heard, the two men on the right faded in the background because they were kinda messed up either drinking or some other drug. Who knows for sure but this is one classic picture and one classic album. Enjoy the sounds!!
