EJ, this is actually what I am talking about. Let us deal with Austin and the surrounding areas. Let us make the Black Communities around us like Desoto and NOT like Ferguson. This is the time. If you want to use the Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin cases to teach the young Black Men out there I agree!!!! however, they shouldnbe remembered as Cautionary Tales of what NOT to do if you value your life and your future. If you want to have them see a future then we need to get businesses IN the Community and NOT burn the businesses down. If you want to change the mindset in the community lets make WORK a priority and EDUCATION a respected and valued commodity. Let us make next week, next month, next year and the next 25 years something that we think about as opposed to living 1 day at a time or waiting for the next benefit date.
