Eric Miller (DEVINS Father) Today at 5:18pm. I ran in THE PENNIES TO HEAVEN 5K this past Saturday... its my second race that Ive run since ours. I ran well and was proud of my effort... but the better feeling came after the race. I met a fellow runner who recognized me from our run. He sincerely encouraged us not to give up on our race. He spoke of humility and charity. He told me of the joy on his 3 year-olds face on winning her first medal. That gesture. That talk. Took a weight off my shoulders and my heart.
