Eric and I took Lily for a leisurely stroll through our neighborhood this morning. It was most enlightening, we collected LOTS of evidence of blight, and I believe we met a kindred spirit. She lives right across the street from an empty lot where a house burned down about 18 months ago. Apparently theres another house locally that was also a total loss. Well, its NO WONDER. This neighborhood is a CONFLAGRATION, just waiting to happen. Its really quite frightening, not only for my community, but also for the first responders, who would have to stand down, should the fire become too fierce for them to enter. Peace.
