He explained what was happening so well. Eric, I hope you dont mind that I posted your message. Perhaps I should have asked first???? Oh well, too late now. Thank you to all who have been concerned about my niece Lacie. She remains at OSU Medical Center in critical condition. They are working to stabilize her lungs, kidneys and liver. The good news is that she gradually is improving with her vitals and she continues to fight. As of today, she remains on the ventilator and is on dialysis. We hope that as she continues to improve and that they will remove her from both support systems sooner rather than later. There continue to be good days and bad days, but she has dramatically improved over the past week and a half. If you would like to be updated on her progress, my sister, Laura, has set up a patient blog as part of the OSU Medical Center system.
