Erie County Legislatures 2nd Districts first HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) Outreach Sign Up program will be Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 @ the Delavan/Grider Community Center, 877 East Delavan (near Moselle) Ave., Buffalo, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. All households in Erie County that qualify for the HEAP grant are eligible to apply @ the Delavan/ Grider site. Professional & trained HEAP workers will be in attendance to process your application in a speedy and efficient manner, thereby sparing you a lengthy and costly trip to the downtown HEAP office. Please note: this is for regular HEAP only. Emergency HEAP cannot be applied for until after Jan 1, 2015. Please bring all necessary documents including most current gas or heating bill, proof of income, number in households and proper ID. Special note: Regular HEAP does not require a final or disconnection notice, only the most current bill and the documents listed above. Customers are serviced on a first-come, first- serve basis.
