Erik Erickson said that moms should stay home with the kids while dads go out to work. All well and good, but the jobs that dads used to do have all moved overseas. There are very few family wage jobs left in America that would allow a mom to stay home with the kids. What lucky moms those are. Lou Dobbs said that "Change is paramount" when he was lamenting the fact that so many mothers are working outside the home. They HAVE to if they want their families fed. These two guys have their heads in the sand. The working landscape is completely different than it was when they were young breadwinners. Blaming it on gender is horse pucky.
