Erin would like to know: I have a question. I had a dr put me on MS Contin 3 years ago to help with the pain fibro causes plus I have a slightly twisted spine & a messed up shoulder. In fact he specifically said when he put me on the MS Contin Erin you will have to accept that you NEED a long acting pain med & will have to accept thats part of your life now I have since changed drs due to moving. The 1st year she was great but now that I had shoulder surgery she wants to slowly take away the MS Contin & says there is no need to have it. Has any drs done that too anyone else? How many people take MS Contin, or something like it? How do you handle a dr that is trying to do this?
