Error Theory And The Conspiracy Graveyard by Jeff Prager Do we all agree that the internet is 99.99% lies? This is my opinion after spending quite a few years searching for and finding data. The internet is a place filled with lies, frauds and misinformation. I believe that people expect news reporting from the mainstream to be the worst reporting in the world. We all know theyre incapable of reporting anything at all. Each and every one of us rails against the mainstream for their failure to report the truth. We do, dont we? We make jokes about FOX News and CNN, dont we? Yet when the lame stream is even the least bit incorrect people tend to design conspiracy theories around the mainstream errors. I call them Error Theories. We dont report the errors as errors, we use the errors to construct wild conspiracy theories. Its confusing and frustrating. Do people stop to think that theyre constructing conspiracy theories using errors in reporting? I dont think they do. Why would people create conspiracy theory around errors in reporting? One cant solve a conspiracy with mainstream media web sites alone and one also cant solve a conspiracy using alternative media web sites alone. You cant solve a conspiracy with new news anyway. You need news thats been aged and news that breaks weeks, months and sometimes years later. And thats even if theres a conspiracy at all and most of the time there is not. The truth behind 911, Syria, Libya, Oklahoma City, the USS Liberty, the Gulf of Tonkin, Operation Northwoods, Operation Gladio, Operation Paperclip, Operation Mockingbird and other real conspiracies took years to emerge. Still, some people believe flight 370 was hijacked and secreted away at Diego Garcia and that a passenger escaped and managed to get cell phone pics out to the media. Were so consumed with finding conspiracy that we manage to find it where none exists. We develop Error Theories. The internet is a conspiracy graveyard where conspiracy wannabes go to die.
