Escape from CMK by DJ Kraze One. This was released on 7Record back in 2001. The idea behind the name was because at the time all the bars and clubs in Central Milton Keynes (CMK) would not let you in unless you had the right color shoes or shirt on and the music was all very commercial and dance orientated. It was very rare for anyone to be playing anything remotely related to this. For DJs like myself it was very hard to get a look in so we had to Escape from CMK, broadern our horizons and look further afield. For my next project I am aiming to return to those times in the late 90s-Early 00s when I was limited to working with just a Roland S750 Sampler, A turntable and a video recorder. At the time I was also making hip hop but we always had to pay to go and record the vocals & Cuts so tracks like this became a side project when there was no cash in the kitty to record traditional hip hop. https://youtube/watch?v=yqENtKQO5dE
