Eschew Bitterness, Wada Urges PDP Members Kogi State governor, Capt Idris Wada, has called on the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to burry their differences so as to ensure the victory of the party in the coming elections. Wada made the call during a meeting with some aggrieved members of the party over the crisis that arose from the last PDP primaries in the state. The governor reiterated his commitment to ensuring victory for the party in the forth coming elections, saying that all members should work as a team on the strategies and approaches for the success of the party at the general elections. Wada also restated his unwavering commitment and support for the second term bid of President Goodluck Jonathan, saying that Kogi has never failed to deliver when it matters most. “We are prepared and determined to surpass the previous record in the forth coming elections. That is why we do not want anything that will cause disaffection among our people before the elections. “We appeal to all members of the party at the state and national levels to ensure that nothing untoward happens to violate and distort the collective aspirations of our people as expressed at the primary”, he added.
