Eskom loadshedding is going to be with us, even after completing - TopicsExpress

Eskom loadshedding is going to be with us, even after completing Kusile and Madupi power stations. It seems as if the bottle neck revolves around the policy issues which Eskom has no power over it. We are at the hands of our government to turn around the situation but most importantly Eskom needs to come out clear by indicating how much do they supply to residential versus the revenue they collect. Surely the motion of hoping to recover the huge deficit revenue from price increases is not a solution, cause that would have a serious impact on the economy and we shall see a slight increase on unemployment once operational cost increases, businesses would opt to reduce staff to cover costs. Alternatively consumers would have to pay for the increase. What is your take?
