Esperanza Morales, 84, of Navasota, passed away Friday, August 15th at her residence. A rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Navasota. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, with Rite of Committal immediately following in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. The Celebrant is Rev. Juan Pineda. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Morales was born to Maximino and Virginia (Herrera) Garcia in Guajanto, Mexico on September 15, 1929. She married Miguel E. Morales in Laredo, Mexico and together they raised seven children. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Isabel and Silvano Gomez of Dallas and Carolina and Danny De La Paz of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Teresa Morales, Juan M. Morales, Sergio and Elizabeth Morales, Robert Morales and Roy Morales, all of Navasota; sister Maria Sandoval of Dallas; brothers Marcus Garcia of Houston and Benjamin Garcia of Mexico; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Miguel E. Morales; sister Catalina Garcia and spcial friend, Antonia Orozco. Serving as pallbearers are James C. Morales of Spring, Manuel Morales of Navasota, Robert De La Torre of Bryan, Roy Morales, Jr., of Missouri, Sergio Arreola, Jr., of Navasota, Jaime Sandoval of Dallas and Juan Sandoval of Dallas. Honorary pallbearers are Sergio Morales, Jr., Alex De La Paz, Erick Morales, Chad Morales, Nickolas Arreola, Aiden Fellenstein, James C. Morales, Jr., Jacob Morales, Manuel Morales, Jr., and Robert Morales, Jr.
