Essential Question of the Day: Why was Secretary Mark Murphy not present for the ESEA presentation/discussion his department gave to the HOUSE EDUCATION COMMITTEE. When a cabinet-level office reports to the Legislature, shouldnt the Secretary show up? I said hello to nearly two dozen legislators today and one of them said its no shock Murphy didnt show and that many legislators feel Murphy has an air of contempt for the General Assembly.
