Why ER Is Important If YOU Are A Team Member!!!youtu.be/whsapLnlSac If you are working the distributor end of Young Living, then you need to be signed up for Essential Rewards (ER). This is a team requirement in order for your upline to stack below you (see stacking video for more info on that). ER is an autoship program. You enter items that will be shipped to you each month. The date AND items can change from month to month. You need to have an order of AT LEAST 50PV. PV stands for Personal Volume. ***Remember, PV does not always equal $ amount. Typically $1 equals 1PV, but there are some items where the item has NO PV (like the clear capsules) or where the PV is less (some of the kits and diffusers)...so ALWAYS look at that on your total...it will have it listed out at the very bottom of your ER order. (I like to also think of this as Point Value). If you have 50PV this will give you the capability of getting paid bonuses....(Ill explain those later..things like Faster Start and Starter Kit bonuses). If you do 100 PV this will give you the capability of getting paid the full benefits, bonuses AND unilevel commissions (Ill explain that later as well). One of the benefits of Essential Rewards is that you get a discounted shipping rate. Hey, every little bit helps. You are also able to earn credits for free oils. So, how does that work? Well, this is based off you PV. So, lets say you have a 100PV Essential Rewards order. You will earn 10% off that...$10 in free oils. You can use that whenever. I am just letting mine pile up. :) This percentage increases with time. Months 1-6 you will earn 10% Months 7-12 you will earn 15% Months 13+ you will earn 20% This is AMAZING. Your order can be WAY over 100 PV if you would like...the larger the order, the more you earn. This is where I will put my orders from my friends...(I choose to offer my distributor discount to my friends). I dont make cash, but I do make the percentage in free oils. Now, if you want to charge retail, obviously you can still do this...just charge them retail and still place the order here on the ER. Another perk for ER orders is they offer different sets called Essential Reward Packs...these are just kits with extra discounts. It will be on the first page where you add products. Its worth checking out for an added bonus. The only disadvantage of this is that ER is a ONE time monthly order. You cant have two ER orders in one month. So those ordering from you need to understand that if you are placing their order this way. I usually just say something like...I have an order going out next Friday, let me know if you want in on it. I try to collect the money within two days of the order shipping so I can transfer the money from Paypal into my account. My very first order was OUT OF CONTROL HUGE so I had to get money up front. That is your call on how you want to collect. I have only had one person so far who just NEVER paid, but it was $10 and I use the oil, no biggie. Lets talk setting up ER. Once you register, you pick your ship date. This can change from month to month...you just have to login to the ER section and go to change ship date (its on first page). When you first sign up it puts the next day...go ahead and adjust THEN to what you want that date to be. You enter your CC info that you want it to charge each month. It will also require you to go ahead and enter at least 50 PV in orders. I just make up something. (just be sure to adjust to what you want before your ship date), haha. You can change your products you want each month. Whatever you order one month, it will stay on to AUTOSHIP for the next month UNLESS you go in and change it. Dont forget to do that if you want different items. I typically can fill a 100PV just on items I want...but if I couldnt for one month for some reason, I ALWAYS have people who want to order from me to help me meet that total. You also can skip ONE month per 12 months. Every month YL has a PROMO. If you reach a certain PV you get something free. This month (February) it is 185PV you get a free set of 4 oils. Last month it was 239PV...it is always differnt. I ALWAYS try making it reach that PV amount....that is where adding friends to your order pays off. You can only receive ONE promo, no matter how much your ER order is. If your ER ship date is the 15th. It will not process until the 16th. Just keep that in mind. They have a one day window there for processing. When you are talking to those who sign up under you about ER, this is what I say. FIRST, everyone is always freaked out about autoship. I get that. I try to NEVER push it with people. I just say, if you KNOW you are going to be ordering 50PV a month or more, you need to do ER. You can ALWAYS cancel, there are no obligations to do it for a certain amount of months...its just smarter to do this bc you earn free oils. If they just want to do an order here or there, well, ER might not be for them. It could take a month or two for them to realize this.... I have a friend who does NOT want to do the business end, however she is ordering something each month that is 64PV...she needs to do ER, EVEN though she DOES NOT want to do business end. If she orders each month without ER, then she misses receive the free product credits. Okay, hope this answered some questions. If there is something that you are not clear on PLEASE ask... Oh, and one last thing...you need to keep an eye on your ERs PV...there are times when items may go OUT OF STOCK. If this happens they just dont put it on your shipment. This could make you drop down to where you dont have enough PV total to get paid your commission...say if your PV was only at 100 and it dipped down to 80PV....OR if your PV was 185 and you thought you would get the PROMO item...if something is out of stock and it dips down to 170 PV then you dont get the PROMO item....
