Estimating Manager - Cape Town – Salary: R35-R45K negotiable - To start ASAP National Diploma in Engineering or related field trade coupled with 5 years estimating and management experience within an engineering environment Must have a thorough knowledge of estimating principals including experience with estimate classifications and quality of information needed to attain the expected accuracy level Extensive experience with MS Excel, Access and MS Word, experience with SAP and MS Project preferred Strong technical skills with an understanding of the Marine Industry preferred but not essential Strong mathematical and problem solving skills Experience mentoring, training and managing a successful team of estimators and related staff Must have excellent verbal communication and written communication skills Experience applying engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships Must exemplify high safety, ethical, and professional behaviors through individual actions Must be able to travel as needed Must have a valid driver’s license Contact: [email protected]
