There are many plant based estrogen rich foods containing natural estrogen in the form of phytoestrogens.It is present in two forms lignans and flavonoids. Flavonidies are further divided into isoflavonoids and coumestan. LIGNAN: Flaxseed is one f the best of estrogen rich foods as it contain approximately 379,380 micrograms of phytoestrogen per 100 grams in the form of lignans. It also contains fiber which has its own benefits. This is a greater source of provision of estrogen in all, seed meal or powdered form but flaxseed oil lacks the beneficial properties of both being one of the estrogen rich foods and having high fiber content. Other rich sources of lignans are sesame seeds, poppy seeds and sunflower seeds. It is also richly present in fruits such as apricots, having the highest amount then strawberries, peaches, pears, raisins, cherries, grape fruit, kiwi, plums and oranges.
