Esé is slowly getting better ... I was very worried because of his failing kidneys that he would get pneumonia. That is still a possibility but I think they treatment is working. I get up first thing in the morning and flip on the Humidifier to the Rain Forrest setting and 15 minutes later, my bathroom is like every Amazon jungle youve ever seen. I grab Esé and Rootin-Tootin and heard them into the bathroom. I figure since the kitten was Patient Zero, who infected every one after leaving the shelter, could benefit from some moist air breathing ... although she has stopped sneezing. The fun part is trying to give nose drops to a 16 pound, cranky cat inside a sauna like bathroom. The good news is that its easier to sneak up on him with the nose drops because you cant see shit in this mist. My bathroom is 5 minutes away from looking like the parking lot of that grocery store in the Steven King movie The Mist. Esé was on his side and Rootin-Tootin walked over, did a quick move where they walk in a circle before they sit and the she plopped down inside of Eses arms. Naturally she sat up when she saw the camera pointed her way.
