Eternal Father, I give You thanks and bless Your Holy name for the gift of this new month and the grace of a successful end to this day. As night cometh; I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth. He will not allow my foot to be moved. He who keeps me will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Isreal shall neither slumber, nor sleep. The Lord is my keeper. The Lord is my shade at my right hand. The sun shall not strike me by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve me from all evils. He shall preserve my soul. Amen.
