Eternal Patrol - Colin Watts It is with much regret that we report the passing of shipmate and SAA Member, ex ABMTPSM Colin Watts. Colin died of cancer. Colin passed away this morning at 0600 after a long illness with cancer. He was born 14th March 1962. Colin served on HMAS Oxley, HMAS Otway, HMAS Onslow and HMAS Otama. Colin also served in the Army, but we forgive him for that. The overwhelming generosity and love for our fellow submariners was demonstrated recently when an appeal by the North Queensland to the wider submarines family for funds to install a stair lift for Colin far exceeded expectations. Sandra, Colins wife, and his family expressed their thanks to the submarine community for helping Colin in a time of need. The SAA President, Darren Thompson, expressed his sympathy and offered Sandra and the family condolences from the submarine community. Farewell Spanner.
