Eternal rest grant, O Lord, unto Msgr. Przbockis brother Stanley. May he rest in peace! PRZYBOCKI – Stanley E., 91, Northern Cambria, passed away Aug. 9, 2014, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. Born Oct. 12, 1922, in Barnesboro, son of Frank and Mary (Gronski) Przybocki. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Genevieve (Kowalczyk) Przybocki, the one true love of his life; brothers, Blair, Ted and Joe Przybocki; and sisters, Delores Kusiak, Betty Oleksy and Violet Previte. Survived by children, Stanley (Tish) Przybocki, Yucca Valley, Calif.; and Paul (Carol) Przybocki and Fran Phillips, both of Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Spinozzi, Michael Przybocki, Greg McKenzie, Lisa (Sam) Miller, Michael, Jennifer and Nathan Phillips; great-grandchildren, Anderson and Zoe Spinozzi and Sean Miller. Brother of Walter, the Rev. Monsignor Bernard, Casey, John and Sister M. Justice Przybocki; and many nieces and nephews. World War II Army veteran, having earned the rank of sergeant with the 108th Engineer Combat Battalion 33rd Division serving in New Guinea, Luzon, Philippine Liberation and Asiatic Theater with 2 Bronze Stars, a Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Meritorious Unit Award. Life member of American Legion Post 508 and VFW Post 343, Barnesboro. Retired coal miner from Barnes & Tucker Co., with 44 years of service. Proud and active 60-year member of UMWA Local 1269. Member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish and presently Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Stanley was a kind, gentle, nonjudgmental man who found pleasure in his reading and doing the daily jumble and crossword puzzles. He was a very proud and sincere man of integrity who always put the needs of others before his own. He lived a life of service to his family, his God, and his country. He will be remembered for his endless generosity, unwavering faith and unconditional love, and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he has touched. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, by his brother, Monsignor Bernard Przybocki, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
