Ethiopia, Togo and Equatorial Guinea are facing disciplinary proceedings for allegedly fielding ineligible players in the World Cup qualifiers, Fifa said on Sunday. Fifa said in a statement that Ethiopia had allegedly fielded an ineligible player in the match away to Botswana, which they won. If Ethiopia are docked three points from the game, it will mean South Africa may still be able to qualify.
