Etisalat Misr has open positions for 0-1 year experience RF optimization engineers with the following responsibilities and requirements: - Responsibilities: o Applies effective tuning measures to improve 2G/3G network KPIs including, Call Drop Rate (CDR), Handover Success Rate, Soft Handover Success Rate, Location Area update, Paging Success rate and CSSR and HSDPA KPI’s to ensure competitive quality of service all over the 2G/3G network. o Outlines and provides network capacity studies for the required 2G/3G expansions ensuring network performance in alignment with marketing promotions and subscriber growth. o Initiates and participates in trials for new products, features and projects to support the decision taking. o Participates in clusters and major roads optimization campaigns to enhance company’s competitive position. o Actively participates in resolving customers’ complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. o Solves and corrects radio network problems according to agreed timing and standards set, to detect and highlight radio network deficiencies and to some extent predict future degradations. o Applies frequency re-tuning and antenna optimization in coordination with Radio Network Design (RND) to enhance the network performance. o Co-ordinates roles execution and checking, with the RF planning, Rollout teams, to ensure that new sites have acceptable performance. o Prepares technical reports and conduct presentation related to the Section’s activities, achievements and outstanding issues to highlight section progress and performance. o Designs and reviews regular drive test routes while performing field drive test measurement and analysis. - Requirements: o BSc in communication engineering (Very Good or Excellent) o Good command of English o Good communication skills o Relevant experience is a plus - Contact: o Interested candidates can send their CVs to: Mohamed.Abdelbasset@etisalat with subject [RF ENG] :
