Eula and Dorothea arrive in their shrouds, carefully and lovingly wrapped by the Governessa, from their resting place underneath the willow tree. Although these girls have died, perhaps not so inexplicably they live again in a new life, where love and delight provide redemption and transformation. Dorothea is an anxious child, but Eula the traveller (who has learned to travel in a true way, as she is a practicing buddhist from a Tibetan lineage now) is by her side, and this gives little Dottie courage. Dorotheas little horns are hidden in the hood of her cape. Both girls stand alone on their little hooved feet, much like a llamas or alpacas. They are prettier than you can imagine, better then the pictures, beautifully rendered. And each comes with the story of her demise from her previous life, ending with the Governessa lovingly collecting the remains. Thank you Anthropomorphica Artdolloddities (Melanie) so much.
