Eulogies For Dr. O. P Aghamelu, PhD, MNMGS, MSEG. Today, August 31, 2014, Dr. O.P. Aghamelu, is being installed as 12th President of the Rotary Club of Nigeria, Abakaliki South District @Salt Spring Hotels. Dr. O. P. Aghamelu, a pan-Nigerian academic holds BSc (Geology and Exploration Geophysics), MSc (Engineering Geology), PhD (Engineering Geology). Dr. Aghamelu has published many Geosciences research works both in national and international journals. Dr. Aghamelu was elevated to the rank of Senior Engineering Geology Lecturer in the Department of Geology and Exploration Geophysics, Ebonyi State University before his metamorphosis to the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ebonyi State, one of the Nine new Federal Universities created under the PDP led Government of President Goodluck Ebele Johnathan. O. P. Aghamelu had bagged many responsible awards to his credit. He was the Staff Adviser of Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, EBSU, before his recent replacement by Herriot-Watt University, London trained Petroleum Geoscientist, Mrs Chimaobim. As we celebrate with you on this important milestone in your life Sir, we pray Almighty God to give you good health and many more years to continue with the good works in the service of our nation, Nigeria.
