Eunice Cofie says that she grew up with low self-esteem, much of it due to bullying. She was made fun of for a reason that should shame us all: Her dark skin. This beautiful young woman admits that she was made to feel that she was less-than, and that growing up was difficult. Thanks to a strong father figure who wanted his daughter to overcome these psychological hurdles, Eunice was inspired to invent a set of beauty supplies for women with rich skin like her own. This led to the creation of NUEKIE, her cosmetics company.
