Eureka!! My Campaign Platform: BEDICS FOR SPRINGFIELD! Springfield Township Board of Supervisor candidate Karen Bedics is on both the Republican and Democratic ballot on November 5. In small-town elections, Karen feels that the party you’re registered with is less important than how you treat people and how you manage a township. Karen’s Issues are your issues: Preserve and protect our water, natural resources, open space and support future implementation of a township Parks and Recreation plan, if it is adopted by the current Board. Work with local, regional and state offices to make our roadways safer. Present a plan to Increase funding for emergency responders without increasing taxes. Implement a transparent government, maintain a fiscally responsible budget and advocate against cronyism. Move forward with review and revision of Springfield Township comprehensive plan for managed, sustainable growth and business development, especially along Route 309 Corridor and village centers. New businesses will help expand the township tax base.
