Euro-Arab Dance and Performance Meeting in Cairo / CCDC Platform 2014 dbm-network.org We are glad to announce that the international association D.B.M - Danse Bassin Méditerranée and MAAT Dance M.E.C.A (Egypt) are co-organising between the 15th and 21st December 2014 the Euro-Arab Dance and Performance Meeting / CCDC Platform 2014 in Cairo / Egypt. This international and informal get-together is only possible thanks to our local partner venues Townhouse Rawabet and the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center CCDC, as well as our funders : the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt, the French Embassy in Cairo, the British Council - Egypt, the Goethe Institut Kairo, the Austrian Cultural Forum Cairo, the Ministry of Culture of the Tunisian Republic, the Kadir Has Üniversitesi and the European Union (EU) - European Delegation to Egypt. The preliminary program is available online. The final program will be announced next Monday, 8th December. A list of participants will be available by e-mail for all the registered professionals. Various colleagues from Egypt and abroad ( Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Lebanon, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom and other countries) have already registered and confirmed their presence in this unique dance and performing arts international get-together in Cairo. Deadline for registrations (for international participants) is 12th December 2014. However late local comers we will also have available a registration desk in some days of the meeting. Please be aware that most of the events are free-of-charge and are open to the general audience (round tables, open debates, performances) . Others (networking activities, etc.) have limited places so they will only be open for attendance for registered professional participants - be they from Egypt or abroad. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us and very important dont forget to register for all the reasons above. The working language will be English. However informal translations to Arabic will be provided whenever possible. Looking forward to meet you in Cairo!
