European Commission today ordered Cyprus Airways to pay back over 65 million euros in illegal state aid. As the airline cant afford to pay back the money the airline was forced to suspend operations this evening. Last Cyprus Airways flight #CY337 landed at Larnaca 20:56 local time. All future flights are cancelled and passengers must arrange alternative flights at their own expense.
