European No-Go Zones: Fact or Fiction? redicecreations/article.php?id=32576 Comment: This is an interesting article about Muslim no-go Zones in Europe. However, keep in mind that the focus in this piece is not addressing the root of the problem, but a symptom of the problem. Yes, there is an issue with large Islamic colonies in Europe today, but the article mentions nothing about who has changed the immigration laws and pushed muliculturalism as the virtue of our times - that ultimatley have created these conditions. The website where this is from, The Gatestone Institute, is full of staunch neo-cons and Israel supporters, like Robert Spencer, Elie Wiesel and the founder is pro Zionist Nina Rosenwald. Its clear that this is a small part in the strategy of ammasing support among Europeans for the Israeli cause and get Europeans involved in the middle-eastern conflict and havy the west fight the arab world. Having said that, if these no-go zones are real, the incentive by the Gatestone Insitute to address the issue does not remove the reality of the conditions that multiculturalism has created. The attack on the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo, a French magazine known for lampooning Islam, has cast a spotlight on so-called no-go zones in France and other European countries. No-go zones are Muslim-dominated neighborhoods that are largely off limits to non-Muslims due to a variety of factors, including the lawlessness and insecurity that pervades a great number of these areas. Host-country authorities have effectively lost control over many no-go zones and are often unable or unwilling to provide even basic public aid, such as police, fire fighting and ambulance services, out of fear of being attacked by Muslim youth.
