Eva makes me read My Little Pony Under the Sparkling Sea to her every night before bed. the same book... and its long. like, not a toddler book at all. So today i downloaded the book in nook for kids picture books for her ipad. i thought she would like it. and i gave it to her and she was super disinterested. and said... no momma, i want YOU to read it to me. and so of course, i felt like a crappy person for trying to take the easy way out. and i read her the book again. and from now on, ill continue to read it every night. until we move on to another book, hopefully at some point. really, ever since we started collecting little things together and playing with play-doh, she hasnt even picked up her ipad at all. some people make fun of our shopkins addiction, but it is pretty special to collect something with your child. everyone should try it. and one of her shopkins even did the ALS bucket challenge today. so anyway, life is good as usual. goodnight ponies. fall dance starts tomorrow.
