Evan is kitten found on the streets of Santiago de Compostela, a city in north-eastern Spain (Galicia province). The cat was immediately taken to a vet, who was able to confirm that these types of burns were not accidental, but rather intentional. The cat has burns especially on the legs and head – eyes and mouth in particular. The ‘Shelter Santiago’ will now be looking after Evan. In the meantime, the person responsible for this is still out there. According to current laws, municipalities all across Spain are responsible for ensuring the welfare on the animals within their borders.
