Eve update: We finished up all our in-Province paperwork yesterday, and have been making small excursions out into the city. There is a nice park just a few blocks away from our hotel, and weve been down there to walk around and get away from the madness that is the traffic on the streets (and sidewalks) of Taiyuan. The people in Taiyuan are not used to seeing foreigners, so we get a lot of stares, especially when they see us with Eve. Eve has been doing incredibly well...very sweet and easy going, sleeping good, eating good, always smiling and happy. We could not ask for the transition to go any smoother, and we thank God for answered prayers...both our own and those who have been lifting us (and Eve) up in prayer. God is awesome!!! We leave tomorrow for Guangzhou, where the U.S. Consulate is, for Eves physical and passport/visa. Thank you all for your kind words of support and encouragement, and for continuing to keep our family in your prayers.
