As you know, Vera was looking for her long lost dog and the distinct characteristic was the bent tail that was S shaped like a pigs curly tail. Well, not only did Evie have almost the exact coloring, the bent tail at the end made it very possible that this could be Maggie....which is why I drove all the way down to Baytown. Alas, not only did the tail not be completely S shaped, Vera and her daughters knew that Evie wasnt their Maggie. Plus, Evie didnt react to them like she knew them either.... But check how she much she has changed after being groomed and knowing that she is now Safe. I texted Vera and said, where is the dog that I dropped yesterday cuz this dog is a completely different dog! LOL...In one day, Vera and her daughters got Evie to play with toys, run/chase/play fetch, and got her to stop shaking uncontrollably. She still flinches if youre a stranger and try to pick her up but once she knows youre not going to harm you, she sticks to you like glue! In my heart, with someone who can give her some love and a little patience so that she knows she can trust you, this fur baby will bring you so much joy! Please help me either find her owners or find a forever home by Sharing, Liking, or Commenting on her stories. I really hope the owners look for her b/c she is such a darling.
