Evelyn must think that we live at the hospital and visit our house when shes well. She has been diagnosed with acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy which looks (and sounds) a lot worse than it (apparently) is. Because she is only 3 weeks old, however, doctors want to run a bunch of tests on her to make sure this really is OK. Shes had her blood drawn twice, an IV put in and a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) and has to stay overnight at the hospital. The doctors and nurses are amazed at what a brave girl shes been through it all; shes taken all the pain like a champ. Please keep Eva the Diva in your thoughts :)
