Even NEWer New Thought Education News! CosmiKids and NH’s HunterSchool.org have launched a global Permaculture Pen Pal Project (P4) which includes children from Agape International’s Freedom School, a permaculture farm school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and those radiant CosmiKids in Canada, Mumbai and Ghana. The children share eco-poetry, permaculture curriculum, photos, videos and their love of nature through supervised social media correspondences. A compilation book of pen pal poetry is being published by Author Wilson Amooro and CosmiKids in 2015, with proceeds benefiting a charity chosen by the pen pals. As part of the P4 & as a continuation of the special collaboration with CosmiKids Ghana, Agape’s Freedom School & Hunter School have been invited to submit one eco-poem each for the Ghanian children to read on stage at a very special upcoming event. The students in Ghana are busy rehearsing for this upcoming on stage presentation. The event is called #PowerShiftGH, with a focus on Leadership | Innovation | ACTION - all for the love of environment and nature. This 3-day summit is taking place from July 26-28, 2014 in Accra the capital. The former President of the Republic of Ghana will be there in person to deliver a Keynote Address with the Special Guest of Honor Former President JA Kufour (UN Special Envoy on Climate Change).
