Even after thousands of concerts, I still get amped when the lights go down at a show and I feel the butterflies of anticipation in my stomach. I still feel like a kid on Christmas when I get home and start emptying my pockets of the backstage passes, posters, guitar picks, set lists and other rock n roll junk I return with. I still am thrilled with things like doing the only interview with Corey Taylor on the entire tour, or hopping on the Pop Evil bus to hang with the guys, or sitting with Christian Martucci hours after the show to talk about all music under the sun from Dee Dee Ramone to The Ink Spots. I am a rocker for life.
