Even as I write this I am at a loss for words. Yesterday, my parents were traveling home on the N1 (between Paarl and Stellenbosch) on their motorbike and someone from the mini-bus pictured (which they were traveling behind), proceeded to throw a full bottle of beer out of the window and directly at them. It obviously smashed and glass went everywhere. Luckily my dad had time to swerve. This incident was entirely unprovoked which makes the matter even more shocking. My mother managed to take these photographs of the mini-bus and the logo on the mini bus (RC Athletico - soccer club). My father was live on air on Cape Talk this morning reporting the incident and the presenters were just as horrified. Contact has also been made with the club and the club sponsors. He has also laid a charge against the driver and luckily, there was a witness driving behind us who is also involved. The perpetrator has also been identified from the club. If anyone can offer any further legal advice as to how this perpetrator can be brought to justice, it would be appreciated. I can only be thankful that this persons malicious actions didnt cause a life changing accident for my parents.
