Even during challenging weekends, the following is truth. It is not a platitude. It is not a cross-stitch saying. I hate platitudes and cross-stitch sayings. This is neither. I will rejoice because whatever this day brings, it is still a day that God has created. I will rejoice even in the moments that I wish that the day was over, because even in those moments, it is still a day that God has created. I will rejoice, because even when in the midst of challenges, there is still so much to rejoice over. And who is not to say that I shouldnt rejoice over the challenges, as well? Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
