Even had a Red Backed Spider on you? Yesterday I decided to remove the faulty fuel pump from a Daihatsu Feroza we have. It has been sitting in the driveway for a while and has lots of spider webs on and under it. I though it a good idea to spray the area near where Id be working. So, under the car , arms up to the fuel pump and a large redback falls into the arm of my T Shirt and ends up somewhere near my arm pit, yes, still alive. It has been a long time since Ive moved so fast. Slid out, shook sleeve, nothing on the ground, shirt off, still nothing. I must have been fairly vigurous it the initial shake. I found a groggy looking red back a metre away. So did I get bitten? I have heard they hurt. No pain, a good sign but I had a little redness under arm. That worried me for a while. All good though. The hardest part was getting back under to finish the job.
