Even if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not ripe to be solved, continued American engagement and leadership is critical to stabilize peace talks and increase the long-term chances for an agreement. Institute managing director Michael Singh says Washington can advance the cause of peace and American interests with efforts in four areas: Facilitating bilateral contacts, encouraging Palestinian economic growth and reform, repudiating the so-called BDS movement, and actively engaging Arab states.
