Even if you dont like Fox News, please watch this interview with Naghmeh Abedini, wife of Pastor Saeed. Naghmeh is a friend to many on my friends list, but I know some of you probably dont know who she or Saeed are. Saeed is an American citizen who was arrested in Iran for being a Christian. He has been brutalized and is in terrible physical condition. He does have family there that have been able to visit him and provide reports. One thing I love about Saeed is his love for Muslims regardless of their hatred for him. When they curse him, he blesses them. I dont know if I could emulate Christs love like that. What a gracious brother. However, Saeed does not want to be in prison. He doesnt want to be tortured. He doesnt want to be told that he is unclean and after his beating the nurses wont even touch him, because hes a filthy Christian. He WANTS to be home with his family. He wants to be home raising his children and loving his wife. The children have been a year and a half without their father. Could you even fathom that? The brutality is more than just the tortures and beatings… Its more than just being locked in a hole… Its more than being transported from one bad prison to an even worse prison and left in general population where hes been left with the most brutal of murderers, and guarded by the most extreme of Muslims who despise Christians and believe they should all be killed. Its a parent… a father being separated from his children. Its a husband being separated from the love of his life. This too is a heartbreaking torture. If you feel so lead, there are petitions you can sign at the American Center for Law and Justice. These attorneys are helping Naghmeh. Calls can be made and email/letters can be sent to State Reps. If you feel compelled in your heart, please help. Please pray!!!
