Even if you dont like tractors theres Some very nice lakes district scenery. While driving from Lake Windermere to Coniston Waters Leanne and I found ourselves behind a couple of tractors, as we followed along Lee grabbed my camera and started to film them, they were traveling at a good pace and after a short while had caught up with another much larger group of tractors, they were obviously on a trek. We followed them until our routes diverged and thought that was the last we would see of them, until about a half hour later as we drove into the village of Ambleside, there in a field on the outskirts of the village was a handful of tractors we pulled into the field introduced ourselves and were told the rest of the trek would be arriving shortly, while I waited I took some photos, then sure enough down the road appeared a long line of tractors heading our way. We were so lucky to have run into this great group of trekkers and to be able to chat and be a part of the run, even if only for a short while, we left them to their meal at the pub and continued on to Coniston.
