Even in his worst day ... Speak in the anguish of my spirit, I - TopicsExpress

Even in his worst day ... Speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul. Job 7:11 In May 2011, a young woman took refuge in a bathtub during a tornado that devastated the city where he lived. Her husband covered her with his body and received blows from flying debris. He died, but she survived thanks to the heroism of her husband. Naturally, she struggles with the question "Why?". But a year after the incident, said he found consolation in the thought that, even in his worst day, he was loved. When I think of "the worst day" immediately comes to mind Job. Although loved God, lost their animals, their servants and their children in a single day! (Job 1:13-19). It deeply regretted and wondered why. Exclaiming, "I have sinned, what I can do to you [...]? Why did you put a mark against thee ...? "(Job 7:20). His friends accused him of sin and thought they deserved to suffer, but God said, "... ye have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has" (42:7). The Lord did not explain to Job because he suffered, but I listened and did not blame him for their questions. It also said it had control of everything and I could trust him (42:1-6). Perhaps the Lord did not explain the reasons for testing, but we should be thankful that even on our worst day, we can know with certainty that He loves us (Romans 8:35-39). Reflection: The love of God does not exempt us from the evidence, but helps us to bear them. Even in his worst day ... Speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
