Even our good works are as filthy rags before a Holy God. Thats because we are sinners at the very core, so even our goodness is tainted by sin. God demands perfection. Period. Only nobody is right? ....well, there was this one guy. Put your faith and hope and trust in His perfection and believe Him. Believe He was who He said He was. Believe He did what He said He did, and believe He has risen from the dead, and simply throw yourself at the mercy of God. When you truly repent, He responds with mercy. But if you refuse to come to Him, broken and sorry and pleading for forgiveness, then you will not stand on the day of judgment. You will pay for your OWN sin, and that ends in hell.
