Even the festivals are stylish in Harajuku! The Super Yosakoi Festival combines the traditional Yosakoi dancing of Kochi Prefecture with the fashion and style of the Harajuku and Omotesando neighborhoods of Tokyo. Around 100 Yosakoi dance teams from throughout the country participate in the festival, including around 5,000 dancers in total! And if you feel peckish while you’re there, Battle of the Udon 2014 will also be held at this time. Visitors to the area on these days will get to sample some of the best traditional dancing and best udon the country has to offer!
